Tennsie has always had a great passion for the medical field. Growing up in Hong Kong, she was exposed to a combination of both Eastern and Western Medicine at an early age, which enlightened her to pursue a career in integrative medicine.

She obtained her Bachelors in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in neurobiology and microbiology from the University of California at Irvine. She continued her education at Southern California University of Health Sciences and graduated Cum Laude with a Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She has been a California licensed Acupuncturist since January of 2007.

Tennsie apprenticed under two doctors for a combination of 9 years to further her studies in herbal formula combination prescriptions and Tui-Na/Acupressure.
