I am a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor. I certify each year with each new version. I have over 20 years experience in Accounting with 18 years manufacturing and 3 years small businesses.

There are lots of accountants and bookkeepers out there, so what makes me so different? I put a lot of care into my clients. It’s not about just doing your books or financials; it’s about teaching you and instructing you along the way. I help clients become aware and understand their financials so that they can make better decisions and learn how to not be “stuck”. I love to teach and guide my clients to becoming a better business. Here are my normal Accounting Tasks:

• Enter all transactions both for checking accounts and credit card accounts.
• Review Chart of Accounts and structure so that it is Industry compliant and bank ready.
• Update and reconcile ALL accounts on the Balance Sheet such as checking, credit cards, loans, accounts payable, accounts receivables, etc.
• Review all expenses on the P & L on a regular basis for ways to recommend improvements and/or cost savings.
• Balance out payroll and sales tax reporting so that it is always accurate (this is the number 1 area people get into real trouble.)
• Create analysis and planning for future growth and business expansion.

Accomplishments:

• Saved one client over $9K from recommending a change in service for merchant fees and payroll services. He was paying an average of 3% of his sales, and I reduced it to 1% of his sales for merchant fees.
• One client had to restructure and recreate his messed up QuickBook’s program that had inventory all mapped incorrectly and reports that weren’t usable. I restructured and remapped everything so that he could file his taxes and seek for a small business loan with usable financials.
