SAVE is located in Southern Alameda County, California, but serves clients from any city, county, state, or country.

SAVE is a non-profit community-based organization founded in 1976 to address the needs of people experiencing family violence. We offer complete services from crisis to the establishment of a violence-free, self-sufficient life.

SAVE is funded by federal, state and local jurisdictions, private foundations, corporations, and concerned individuals.

Gerard Bessette joined Comerica Bank in 2007 and is currently the Assistant Manager at the Fremont branch. In this capacity he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Bank branch as well as directing special projects in compliance with all Federal Regulations.

He recommends and sells financial solutions to individuals and businesses, including cash flow management, savings, and lending practices. Prior to joining Comerica Bank, Gerard was a bank teller at Wells Fargo. Gerard’s love of financial solutions began at San Jose State University where he graduated with a major in Economics. Gerard is preparing to begin the Professional MBA program at Golden Gate University in the fall.

Don Willner is a 3rd degree black belt in White Tiger Kung Fu, with expertise in Kenpo, Tae Kwan Do, Kung Fu and Israeli self defense. Teaching martial arts and competing on the National Circuit for the last 15 years, Don has consistently placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in forms, weapons, self defense and sparring.

In 2005 a friend asked Don if he could teach a self defense seminar that was designed for the average, everyday woman. Unexpectedly Don was diagnosed with cancer shortly thereafter. During his recovery he began developing the S.H.A.R.C. Attack Women’s Safety and Self Defense System. The seminars were specifically designed to show women how to dramatically reduce the odds of being victimized, as well as teach vital safety measures that were easy to implement, creating a safer environment for themselves as well as their loved ones.

Now cancer free, Don has been asked to and given his seminars to realtors, schools, religious groups and other organizations, of which, 100% of the proceeds from the seminars are donated to charity.

Kristin Bleier has more than 15 years’ experience in global high-tech public relations. She first joined The Hoffman Agency in the spring of 2001 and returned as an account director in 2005, bringing a strong skill set focused on enterprise hardware and software, consumer, telecommunications and storage. She was promoted to vice president in 2006.

While at The Hoffman Agency, Kristin has managed PR programs for companies such as Plantronics, Altec Lansing, Friendster, ILOG, Callidus Software, HP, and Centillium Communications.

Kristin is passionate about a client service approach and knows the importance of providing her clients with the strategic direction to achieve the best results.
